Located in Guadalajara, the country’s second largest city, Ciudad Creative Digital (CCD) aims to create a hub for the digital media industry wihin Mexico - From TV, cinema, and advertising to videograms, digital animation, interative multimedia and e-learning. CCD will be the home to Mexico’s ‘Silicon Valley’.
The project draws the strengths of the site - its talent, historic fabric and connections - and enhances them to achieve a new social and environmental sustainability. These structures are the organizing principle of CCD, integrating living, working and leisure in a humanscaled urban environment that can be changed, added to, and adapted over time. The project will advance Mexico’s natural position as a global creative leader while pushing the boundaries of sustainable urban development. CCD will provide a new model to be replicated across the country and Latin America.
